Injured workers and their families face enormous challenges navigating the compensation system. Many are struggling to make ends meet while fighting for the support they need.
The Thunder Bay & District Injured Workers Support Group is holding a public meeting to bring attention to these issues and provide an opportunity to hear directly from injured workers and advocates.

EVENING SCHEDULE

6:00 PM — Media Conference
A public discussion focused on the experiences of injured workers and the compensation system.

Light meal provided

7:00 PM — Tracey McKinnon
Hear from Tracey McKinnon, one of the group’s members who is running for councillor in the McKellar Ward in the upcoming municipal election.

Steve Mantis will speak about the compensation system, the challenges facing injured workers, and how injured workers can fight back. Steve is co-author of Who Killed Sir William, a community-university research project seeking justice for injured workers.
