We’d like to extend congratulations to Steve Mantis, a member of EPID’s advisory board, on being the recipient of the Leslie Nickels International Health & Safety Award, awarded by the American Public Health Association (APHA) last month!

Steve Mantis is an advocate for injured workers and currently serves as treasurer for the Thunder Bay & District Injured Workers Support Group. Most recently, Steve released a book with cowriter Marion Endicott titled “Who Killed Sir William?: A Community-University Research Alliance Seeks Justice for Injured Workers”.
