You do not have to apply for the one-time payment, it will be automatically issued to:

If you are eligible but never applied for the Disability Tax Credit, or your certificate expired in 2019, you must do so by September 25, 2020.

We expect to issue the payments beginning this fall. The payment information will be provided on this page once available.

New support for our Tuesday morning legal education and support group!

The Thunder Bay & District Injured Workers Support Group (TB&DIWSG) is pleased to announce their partnership with the United Steelworkers Family and Community Education Fund (FCEF) in coordination with Northwestern Ontario Steelworkers Area Council with the sponsorship of our weekly legal education and support group sessions online until December 1st



Tuesday Together

This past Tuesday Hillary Dorothy Jones, a Lakehead University Graduate Student, shared information with the group regarding Mental Health First Aid.   During the discussion Hillary talked about grieving not being something that just happens when somebody dies but is something we could go through at other times, for instance the loss of a job.
